Furthermore, police effectively serves first in line in cases of healthcare emergencies, terror attacks, natural disasters, etc. As per data, there have been 37,580 recorded police deaths on the line of duty since Independence. As citizens of India, it becomes our duty to do more than just paying obesiance, glorifying, or commemorating their martyrdom.
