Mrs. Cosmos India Trailer Launch at the Embassy of Hungary, New Delhi, India in Support ofAbhinandan Educational and Welfare Society

The glamorous trailer launch of Mrs. Cosmos India (MCOI) took place at the prestigious Embassy of Hungary in New Delhi. The event, held in aid of the official charity partner, Abhinandan Educational and Welfare Society, a leadingnon-profit, brought together ambassadors, senior government officials, and fashion industry leaders to celebrate the empowering vision behind MCOI.

The evening began with aninspiring keynote address by Mrs. Manisha Bhatia, Founder & CEO of Abhinandan, who spoke about the society’s philosophy ‘Education for Life’, its 15-year commitment to empowering marginalized communities and how the women participating in Mrs. Cosmos India reflect her own journey of balance between tradition and progress, personal ambition and public service.

A highlight of the event was the Power Walk segment, headlined by H.E. Mr. Istvan Szabo, Ambassador of Hungary to India alongside his wife, Mrs. Erica Szabo. This unique runway show emphasized on global unity & cultural exchange, featuring Power Walkers like Ambassadors of Brazil (H.E. Mr. Kenneth H. da Nobrega), Jamaica (H.E. Mr. Jason K. M. Hall), Mexico (H.E. Mr. Federico Salas), Paraguay (H.E. Mr. Fleming Raul Duarte Ramos), Slovenia (H.E. Ms. Mateja Vodeb Ghosh)as well as senior officialsfrom the Embassies of Australia and USA.The fashion-forward evening continued with two stunning fashion shows: RIANTA by Rianta Chakraborty showcased their exclusive Marjorie Collection, while ADAARA COUTUREby Simran & Naman wowed the audience with their festive Sail with me Collection. A captivating dance performance, headlined by the talented Devasmita Sharma, added a touch of artistic flair to the event that was emceed by Karishma Kotak.

The evening concluded with the much-anticipated trailer launch of the inaugural edition ofMrs. Cosmos India set to begin in November 2024 with Hungary as the International Destination Partner. Over 60 women of Indian descent from around the world will compete in a journey that will take them to a 7-day international tour culminating in Budapest as well as exotic destinations within India such as New Delhi, Benaras, Goa, and Bangalore, where the grand finale will be held in March 2025.This pageant, created by Mr. Vinay Gupta, Director ofGait N Grace, is set to redefine the global platform for married women of Indian descent. The competition seeks to highlight the beauty and grace of Indian women on a global stage, while embracing their unique cultural heritage.

The Mrs. Cosmos India pageant promises to be a celebration of beauty, grace, and cultural heritage, all while supporting the incredible work of Abhinandan Educational and Welfare Society. The launch event was a testament to the power of fashion, culture, and philanthropy coming together to create meaningful impact.
